Product description
"Ice Wine Riesling" from Chateau Chizay is a unique, naturally sweet, ice wine from Riesling Rhine grapes, which have been affected by frost. First, the grapes are dried on the vine, and only after frost they are harvested, thus, the water from the berries freezes, and the juice becomes a concentrate of sugars, acids and aromatic components with notes of honey, peach, pineapple, sweet spices and lime. The taste is harmonious with floral and fruity notes. The most delicious combinations can be obtained with lemon sorbet, crème brûlée, blue cheeses.
Ice Wine from Chateau Chizay received a gold medal "Mondial des Vins Blancs Strasbourg - 2024" and a silver medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2024.
